SolveX vs Urable: price and features for a solo mobile detailer
By Jackson Main, founder of SolveX

I'm Jackson, the person who made SolveX. Everything about Urable on this page comes from Urable's own website. If their website doesn't mention a feature, it gets an ✕, so ask them about it before you decide.

YesNo, or not on Urable's pagesCheck before you sign
I checked Urable's website on November 2, 2026, starting with their prices page. Prices can change, so look at theirs before you decide.
Read the fine print.
Urable's prices page says: "No contracts, no hassle and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time." But the legal terms on their website, updated June 8, 2026, say three things you should ask about before you sign up.
- A one-year contract
- The terms say you sign up for 12 months, and it renews for another 12 unless you tell them in writing 90 days before it ends. That's unless the paperwork you sign at signup says something different.
- You may have to use their card service
- The terms say that within 60 days you're expected to take card payments through Urable's own card service, called UrPay. If you don't, Urable may turn off features, raise your price or charge you an extra fee.
- The card service has its own contract
- UrPay's own page says its contracts last a year, and you have to give 90 days' notice to cancel. It also lists "no Urable application fee ($0.70 a transaction)" as a reason to use it, so ask whether you'd pay that fee if you don't.
This doesn't mean you'll be stuck. Your signup paperwork may say something different. Before you sign, ask Urable to put in writing whether you're on a monthly plan or a yearly contract, and whether you have to use their card service.
Pick
if
- You have a crew of employees. Track their hours, pay and tips, and plan their driving routes.
- You run a shop or more than one location. You can schedule drop-off times, and run several locations from one login.
- You sell paint protection film, tint or coatings. Send price quotes with options to choose from, and pay $150 a month more for a 3D preview of the film on the customer's car.
SolveX doesn't do these. If you need them, Urable is the better fit.
Pick
SolveX if
- You work on your own or with a helper. You get everything a one-person business needs for $99 a month, less than Urable's $110 plan with online booking.
- You want it done for you. I build your website and can set up your booking page with you on a free phone call.
- Customers flake on you. They pay a deposit when they book and get a reminder text the day before.
- You miss calls while you're working. The caller gets a text right away, and every call, text and website message lands in one inbox.
- You want to get paid in the driveway. The customer scans a code on your phone and pays by card, tip included. No card reader needed.
- You want more Google reviews. Every customer gets asked for one an hour after the detail, without you lifting a finger.
How to pickthe right one.
- Step 1
Add up what you'd really pay each month
Only count what you'd actually use. If you want customers to book online with Urable, that's their $110 plan. Then add anything you'd still have to pay for somewhere else, like a website or a business phone number for texting. Compare the totals, not just the plan prices.
Card fees add up too. If customers pay you $3,000 a month by card, every extra half a percent costs you $15 a month. Ask each company whether it adds its own fee on top of the card company's. SolveX doesn't add anything.
- Step 2
Figure out how long setup will take you
Before your first customer can book, someone has to add your services and prices, your hours, where you drive to, your deposit amount, your bank details for payouts and your website. Ask each company who does that work: you, or them. Every hour you spend on setup is an hour you're not detailing.
- Step 3
Try both for free by booking yourself
During the free trial, pretend to be a customer. On your phone, book a detail, add an extra and pay the deposit. Then check: did you get a text saying you're booked? A reminder the day before? Could you pay by card? Did a review request show up afterwards? Last, call your own business number and don't answer, to see what a customer would get.
- Step 4
Ask these questions before you pay
Copy this message and send it to both companies. Their answers will tell you what you'd really pay.
"Hi, I run a mobile detailing business on my own and I'm comparing booking apps. How much would I pay each month for online booking, deposits, reminder texts and review requests? What do you charge on card payments? How long is the free trial, and do I need a credit card to start it? Will you set up my booking page for me? Can I cancel any month, or is it a yearly contract? Do I have to use your card service? Can I take my customer list with me if I leave?"
Questions detailers ask
- How much does Urable cost?
- Urable has three plans: $70, $110 and $183 a month. Customers can only book online by themselves on the $110 and $183 plans. Paying for a year up front costs about the same as paying monthly. The 3D paint film preview costs $150 a month more. These were the prices on November 2, 2026.
- Can my customers book online with Urable?
- Yes, on the $110 plan and up, and they can pay a deposit when they book. The $70 plan doesn't have online booking.
- Do I have to sign a contract?
- With SolveX, no. You pay month to month and can cancel in the app any time. Urable's prices page says there's no contract, but the legal terms on their website describe a one-year contract unless your signup paperwork says otherwise, so ask them.
- Which one is cheaper?
- For a detailer working alone who wants online booking, SolveX: $99 a month against Urable's $110. SolveX's price also includes a website and a business phone number. If you have employees and need tools to manage them, Urable has more of those.
- Does SolveX build my website?
- Yes. I build it and connect it to your web address. When you want something changed, text me and I'll change it within a day.
- Can I switch later?
- Yes. Both let you take your customer list with you. In SolveX, you can download it from the app any time.
